TN Law & Business Basics

Stay compliant and confident in your practice with this comprehensive 4-hour Continuing Education class.   Designed specifically for Tennessee licensed massage therapists, this class is divided into two focused sessions to achieve the 4 CE hour requirement in Tennessee.  Your instructor is Maj-Lis Nash, LMT988 who has been teaching TN laws/Rules courses for over 25 years.  There will be a quiz emailed to you within 15min of the end of the class and completion of this is required to obtain your CE Certificate.  Her experience operating her own massage study, an accredited massage school, CE programs and an Airbnb is just the beginning of her business experience.  She has worked along side many spas and studies assisting them with employee handbooks to employee inspiration. 

• 2 Hours – TN Laws & Regulations: An in-depth review of the current Tennessee Massage Licensure Board rules, including updates on any recent changes, the Continuing Education (CE) cycle, establishment license requirements, and license renewal procedures.

• 2 Hours – Business Basics;  Just starting your own business? Ready to branch out and have employees?  This class will get you started on the path to opening your own business with guidance on everything from pricing, marketing, taxes, contracts and planning for your retirement.
